Well, I can't believe it. It's over.....it's done....our travel schedule for this year is finished! Wowsers!
I cannot tell you how incredibly blessed I feel to have traveled around the world sharing stamping, scrapbooking and stories with you all. :)
I've traveled literally all over the world. Edmonton and Toronto Canada, Puerto Rico, Texas, Missouri, Washington, Massachusetts, Australia, Chicago, Tennessee, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Utah, and South Africa.
What an amazing journey. I've learned so much about other cultures and about myself. I honestly think I've grown up a little, too. Traveling by yourself makes you rely on yourself and when you are in another country, that can get a little scary. BUT, I DID IT. :)
My next trip is scheduled for Jan. 12. I have about 8 weeks to catch up on life. ;)
I have a fun video to share with you today. It's "Your Questions....Answered!" (I love these segments!)

My friend Gretchen Schmidt sent me a photo of the coolest Birthday Card! Check it out!
Instructions -
Outside: Create a 4-1/4” x 5- 1/2” card base out of white cardstock.* Layer three pieces of patterned papers on the front of card as shown. Stamp cupcake image onto cardstock and use a circle punch to cut it out. Layer onto a slightly larger circle piece and carefully stamp sentiment. Glue onto card front.
Inside: Create the Gift Card Holder using patterned papers as directed according to package directions and add to the inside of the card using a strong adhesive. Glue down two coordinating paper strips on the lower half of the card, towards the top to cover up the tabs. Use your Gift Card Holder die to create a second label out of white cardstock. Stamp cupcake liner and cupcake top on matching pieces of paper, cut out, and glue them down onto the right hand side of the label die piece, letting a bit hang off the top. Stamp sentiment on the left hand side of the label. Glue entire piece to the front of the Gift Card Holder die as shown.
*Use mat board to help everything lay flat if desired. Layer a piece of mat board on the front and then cover with the patterned paper. Layer a piece on the back side of the card.
Here's a great card I found in our Gallery.... It's by Liz T.
Here's some notes by Liz:
I used the large fancy label die to cut the cards base then used the next size die for the background paper. I embellished with a stamps4fancy label stamp and used a Marvy marker to color and stamp. I then used the die set to cut it out.
Liz, thanks for sharing your card with us! Email me if you would like a special blinkie to add to your blog! :)
{By the way...did you know?!? Our Gallery has over 3600 ideas using our stamp sets! Just click on the stamp sets you have, and check out projects using those stamps!}
It's November first (already?!?) and that means it's time for our next stamp set release!!!!
{We release our Club Stamp Set on the first of each month and 3-4 other stamp sets are released on the 7th for Club Members and the 11th for the general public.}
Want to know the funny thing?!? Ken and I are flying in on different planes! (and flying home on different planes!) Before MO, I'll be in Salt Lake City, Utah for the Discovering Possibilities Event by Oh My Crafts (for Sizzix). I'll leave home on Wednesday, teach all day Thursday and then I fly to MO that night.
Ken leaves So Ca Thursday morning and will set up our booth (by himself.... :| (that's me holding my breath!) ;)
I hope to meet some of you at one of these two events!
Did you know, that every month, on the 11th, we release new stamp sets?!? Why the 11th? Well, honestly, no real good reason.
Haha....
Actually, on the 7th of the month, we release the sets only to our Club Members. They get to see the sets first and have a few days to order them before the general public. Just a little extra perk for our Club Members. So, that's the 7th.
I then had to figure out a day to release the stamp sets to everyone. I figured, since I {Love} 7-11 so much, I should choose the 11th. That way, I would remember the days, and maybe customers would, too. ;)
Ok, ok, I need to stop 'chatting' and show you the video! Here it is!
When my friend, Gretchen Schmidt sent me this project, I fell in love. The surprising thing?!? There's no stamping! {Gasp!}
Why did I fall in love? Because she used my new Sizzix Framelits Dies exactly how I intended them to be used. It was a thrill to see them used by someone else. ;)
Directions: Use a Scallop Pennant die to cut 14 pieces out of black. Use various pieces of patterned paper and a Plain Pennant to cut 14 pieces. Make sure the Plain Pennant is slightly smaller than the Scallop Pennant. Glue pieces together. Add a hole to each upper corner of your pendants. Use the Butterfly Kisses font with black felt to create “Happy Halloween.” Glue a letter onto each pennant. Use embroidery floss to tie pennants together adding extra on the left and right sides to hang. Use the Spider and Spider Web Pop-Up Die to cut 5 spider webs and 7 spiders out of black cardstock. Glue the webs in various places behind the pennant making sure to glue down onto only one. Glue the spiders onto the front sides of the pennants in various places, again making sure to only glue down onto one pennant. By gluing the elements to only one pennant, you will ensure that the banner will move easily.
Sizzix Spider and Spider Web Pop-Up Dies, Sizzix Butterfly Kisses Alphabet Dies, patterned papers – Spooky Night, The Book Crew, Cute Cuts, Full Moon, Itsy Bitsy Spider (Too Cute to Spook, Bella Blvd), black felt, black cardstock (American Crafts), small hole punch, black embroidery floss.
Design Team Member, Vicki Garrett created this wonderful Decor Board. Isn't it wonderful?!?
Instructions:
Ink up the Bumpy Side of the Texture Fade with Versamark Ink , insert the Black Cardstock and run it through your Big Shot Machine.
Cover with Weathered Wood embossing powder, shake off and heat set, layer onto the metal board with a strong adhesive.
Stamp the Fence from Solids4Halloween with versamark, heat emboss with Weathered Wood embossing powder, heat set and trim.
Stamp the Bat and Raven from Solids4Halloween in Licorice ink , the Pumpkin in Tangerine on Yellow Cardstock, cut out and set aside. Note: you can add a little more dimension by sponging the tangerine ink onto the left side of the pumpkin.
Stamp the Happy Halloween sentiment from Spooky2Scare with versamark ink directly onto the metal board. Heat Set (be careful as the board will get hot~!).
Add the pictures to the Board and assemble as shown using a strong adhesive.
Want to know something funny?!? The penguins4Christmas stamp set was just released, right? And right now, it's almost Halloween....
But.....
I'm designing products for Sizzix that are for Christmas....next year!!!! Yep, designs for 2012! Isn't that crazy to think about?!?
I just sent in eleven files. I have a few more to do before my deadline (next week). I'm so proud of myself for getting them done now. (Although, the 'deadline' was really September 1st! They gave me an extension. Woo Hoo!) ;)
Anyway, most people are busy designing Halloween things. ;) So, I thought I'd share with you some great Halloween stamps and ideas!
I just have to ask....how on earth did it already become October First?!? Wowsers! Where does the time go?!?
Well, the good news is it's time for our new stamp set release! {We release the Club Set on the First of the month, and 3-4 stamp sets are released on the 7th and 11th of the month as Special Releases}.
Check out the video that shows off the stamp set that has been sent out today to our Club Members....

My good friend Gretchen Schmidt, sent me this great card! {She is so awesome to share with us!} This card is one of my favorites for two reasons.
1. It has a POP UP! ;)
2. It has STAMPS! :)
Pop ups and stamping go so well together! ;)
Directions -
Create a 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” card base out of kraft cardstock, fold in half to create your card. Cut a second card front that is 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”. Stamp spider webs on the card front and on the inside of the card base.
Outside: Stamp three pumpkins onto cream cardstock. Cut out each into a square. Glue pumpkins onto blue patterned paper, hand cut out each into a square shape. Glue down all three to a piece of black cardstock and cut it out into a rectangle shape as shown in example. Cut a larger pieces of Halloween themed patterned paper and glue to card front. Tie a ribbon around the card front and set it aside. When the inside of your card is complete, glue the card front onto the outside of the card base.
Inside: Use your Spider and Spiderweb die to create the spiderweb and cut two spiders. Add spiderweb to the inside of your card base following package directions. Secure the web portion that attaches to the top of your card with a brad. Glue down your two spiders to the web. Stamp sentiment and pumpkin as shown.
