I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend. We sure did! My brother had us over to his home and I got to spend some time with my five month old nephew! :)
He also had a real cotton candy machine and snow cone machine! {And of course his REAL soda machine....yep, it's a REAL one. I'm green with envy!}
Here's a picture of Kirstin (my brother in the background) making her own cotton candy...
Here's our latest video...it's YOUR questions...Answered! :)
here's a great card I found in our Gallery....{by the way...did you know?!? Our Gallery has over 2900 ideas using our stamp sets! Just click on the stamp sets you have, and check out projects using those stamps!}
This card is by Deb on our Design Team....
Isn't it adorable how she made it an interactive card?!? Deb, I love it! :)
I then found this card by Jennie in NC....
I love this card....AND how cute...Jennie made her own patterned paper with the word stamp, "need some ice cream!"
Jennie, thanks for sharing your card with us using the scream4icecream stamp set! Email me if you would like a special blinkie to add to your blog! :)
My all time favorite stamps have to be flowers! You can never have too many flower stamps! Check out this video and then ask yourself, Got Flowers?!? ;)
The weekend is almost here! {Unless you are in Australia...where it is the weekend!}
I was Cruising the gallery (pun intended) and came across this adorable card by Caroline in WI.
Here's the cute story behind the card...
16th Birthday Card with insert
My son's nickname is "the J-bug;" the little Beetle in the cars2drive stamp set was perfect for his birthday card. His actual gift was a new bike, but his older brothers thought the fake car key would be a fun distractor for this new driver...
Caroline...what a great design and story behind it! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Do you remember when I asked for a favor....it was my daughter's birthday, and I was wondering if a few of you would be interested in sending her a card.
Well....we received TONS! So many, that Ken created an eye candy video to share them all with you.
Thanks to each of you who sent in a birthday to help Kirstin celebrate her special day!! We enjoyed the many wonderful sentiments that you shared in your cards. She has kept every single one! They all mean so much to her (and to me!)
I'm back from my whirlwind trip to Aussie land! {I landed in LA on Mother's Day morning!}
If I could only say one word about Australia, it would be: fantastic!
Honestly, it was hard to leave! We (my oldest daughter and I) had the most wonderful trip. ;)
Before I left, Kristin (Sizzix CEO) asked me to bring back something called "Tim Tams." Of course, I was not going to admit I didn't know what a Tim Tam was, but I soon found out!
Check out this unedited (and shot by my teenager!) video to find out all about Tim Tams!
Another thing we learned about very quickly was electricity. In Australia, electricity is very expensive, so the outlets (they call them power points in Australia...Microsoft stole the name!) ;) have on off switches! Here's a picture:
So, the one on the right is on, the one on the left is off. We did remember to bring the electricity converters, but still managed to blow out the hair straightener! ;) THAT was pretty funny!
So, as I deal with my jet lag, I'll go through more pictures and share more with you this week.
It's time for the next stamp set release! Woo Hoo!
Let's see...do you realize, that I won't 'see' May 1st?!? I leave April 30th at 11pm for Australia (for Sizzix) and when I land, it will be May 2nd at 6:10AM local time. No May 1st! I'll be in a plane warp! ;)
Luckily, I've scheduled this post for May 1st, so you'll get to see the newest release! Are you ready?
Thanks for visiting! Life is full of little scraps and lots of stamps...I need more creative time! ;) Here you will find my latest creations, lots of stamp news and even some family stuff. Don't forget to check out the website! Click Here!
